Garcia's Seafood Grille & Fish Market
DOWNTOWN MIAMI Seafood is the focus here, and
the decor echoes the nautical theme, with lots of seafaring accents and
plenty of old-fashioned charm. Dine outdoors right on the Miami River,
feasting on the freshest fish, served simply or with a Cuban flair. The
kebabs are also an excellent choice, full of tasty fish, shrimp or
chicken, or try the flavorful and unique conch fritters. Don't spoil your
appetite on the addictive hush puppies. Smart casual attire.
They serve many different variety of food, drinks, appetizers, wine and much more. The staff at the Garcia's seafood grille are very friendly and they will serve you kindly. The restaurant has been around for quite some time serving the public with amazing food that's delicious in every bite. But whether you're there for breakfast or dinner, start your glass with a white Spanish wine lean and juicy followed by a salmon capriccio than a thin slice of lush, peach salmon served with a bed of European greens and topped with strawberries, endive and sesame seeds um um um good. Information about the business Owned by the Garcia's family- Esteban Sr., Maria, and sons, Esteban Luis, Cuban exiles who have have been in the seafood business since 1966. They all work together to give you the best food in Miami and make you come back wanting more.
Located on the Miami River, the restaurant is a hot spot for lunches and early dinners as it closes at 6:30 p.m. Their specialty is their dolphin sandwich, but don't miss a chance to dig into the stone crabs. Get there early because when it's gone, it's gone. The restaurant front door's opens to a refrigerated seafood counter stocked with lots of fresh fish, crabs, shrimp packed in a freezer with ice so that the food will be cooked fresh right from the freezer to the kitchen to the table where guest enjoys their delicious food. And just around the corner on the left stretches lunch counter for quick meals. There you will find a mini dinning room that's about half the equally busy dockside patio overlooking the Miami river. Surprisingly, this adds to the feel that you've found a real Miami treat. It may look like a hole in the wall, but seeing the happy diners enjoying their meals and smelling the great aromas wafting from the kitchen make you expect a great lunch.
Karen Rita rate the Garcia's seafood restaurant with five stars saying what a great relaxed atmosphere and food is excellent. The yellowtail snapper broiled is suburb, and the stone crabs some of the best I've had in Florida. Ej also rate the Garcia's seafood restaurant with five stars saying I make it a ritual to go to Garcia's at least once a week. The seafood is always fresh and the beer always cold. During Stone Crab season I tend to go more frequently because the crabs are fresh and reasonably priced. Seafood Caesar Salad makes a delicious starter. Other popular entrees include Kingfish and Stone Crab (in season). With the indoor/outdoor dining option, you can choose to sit overlooking the Miami River in good weather. Offering simple Florida cooking at its best, Garcia's serves the area's freshest seafood at incredible prices. A location on the Miami River grants picturesque dining, complete with picnic tables and umbrellas, and the super-casual ambience is much prized by regulars. They also swear by the dolphin sandwich, hushpuppies and crab cakes.
Since 1966, Garcia's has been serving seafood to locals at
affordable prices. In its Miami River location, with breezy outdoor dining, this
seafood eatery is not only quintessentially Floridian, but also quintessentially
Miamian.
The Garcia's Grille & seafood is just one of the
best in town because of it's location it is known as the hidden
restaurant, but once you find it and taste the amazing food that they
serve your going to be hook and going to be coming back for more and
more.
